Location Information
The Chilnualna Falls Trail begins as a single track along the stream. It ascends from the beginning winding along the creeks northern bank for the first half mile. The trail reaches a rushing cascade before leaving the stream for open forest and a series of switchbacks. The next three miles to the top of the falls is a steady ascent. Approaching the crest, vistas of the Wawona Valley are seen, as well as the wooded ridges beyond. Hikers are also rewarded with refreshing views of Chilnualna Falls.
