The trail parallels the Tecumseh Brook for a short distance before crossing it. About a mile into the hike, the trail crosses the same brook. The trail proceeds to climb Mt. Tecumseh reaching a flat area where you will see Sosman Trail entering from the southwest. Continue on Mt.
