The Great Glen Way walks you through some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. The route stretches from Fort William to Inverness and has the Caledonian Canal running through it, either side you are surrounded by towering mountains towns and villages. The route follows along by the canal with rising as you skirt the contours of the mountains through forest and over fells on paths.

The walk starts at Loch Linnhe in Fort William and within sight of Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, the walk passes through Fort Augustus, Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit where nearby Urquhart Castle stands prominent overlooking Loch Ness. The route of the Great Glen Way takes you high above Loch Ness where you too can look down over the Loch and admire the views of the peaks and the glens.
