I am a keen trekker who has been walking for many years, throughout the UK and Scotland as a boy, on reaching my 20,s I started traveling and my interest in walking moved from the UK  to further a field whilst spending time traveling in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and America I walked extensively on  many of the countries National Trails, lately my interest in walking has moved into Europe and with my wife, son and daughter who absolutely love walking have spent many years walking routes throughout Europe with my preferred locations in the mountains of Austria and Switzerland.
Next walks on my to do list are: Inca Trail, K2 and Aconcagu

I have been walking since a boy; my parents had me walking the Coastal Path in Cornwall before I had reached the age of 10, my interest has stayed with me through my adult years and I have enjoyed walking throughout the UK, though my favorite area in the UK has to be the West Country and my wife and two sons have spent great walking holidays exploring the area. I now crave the sun and have been walking extensively in Spain throughout the last few years.

I have been trekking since I was a boy progressing from Cub hikes in the 1960’s in Northumberland, Durham, Yorkshire and the Lake District to the mountains of England and Wales, long distance treks in the UK and including expeditions in the Alps, Atlas, Andes and Himalayan ranges. I am married with 4 children, 3 daughters and a son and like to think of the family as a walking support group.
I try not to be a walking bore but my walking logs, travel journals, large collection of mountaineering books and a garden full of rocks collected on my travels is a bit of a giveaway…but I wouldn't’t have it any other way.
